Material & Design: Halogen, Coating, and Connectors
Inside, you’ve got a shortwave halogen element, sealed in a quartz envelope. It’s built to heat up fast and spread the warmth evenly. The 3D flame shape comes from a clever reflector and filament setup. It focuses the energy into a clean pattern, which cuts down on wasted heat and gives you way better control over the process. The tube itself is coated to handle high temperatures, resisting oxidation and contamination. That means the performance stays steady, even after long runs. And for the connection, we went with the R7s connector. It snaps in without tools, gives a rock-solid contact, and—no wiggle, no hot spots.
Application & Benefits: Precision Heating Under Pressure
This setup was born for the tough industrial heating jobs, like PET blowing and plastic forming. It fires up almost instantly, holds its temperature steady, and takes the abuse of repeated heating and cooling without giving up. The R7s termination makes it a simple drop-in replacement on most fixtures, which means less downtime when you need to swap one out. Now, here’s the trade-off: that 2500W density is serious, so it needs proper cooling and clearance.
