Why it feels instant
Most heaters try to warm up the air around you. The problem? The wind just blows that warm air away. Our units do things differently. They use short-wave infrared radiation—think of it like the sun. The heat travels in waves and hits you (or your furniture) directly. We use quartz glass tubes to protect the filament, which keeps the energy focused on you rather than wasting it on the empty air. It’s fast. Really fast. You feel it the moment the power kicks in.
Weather-proofing and the “Smart” bit
Water and electricity are a bad mix. To keep things safe, we seal everything to IP65 standards. In plain English: it’s dust-tight and can handle a decent spray of water without breaking a sweat. To get these talking to your smart hub, we tuck a heavy-duty relay or a TRIAC dimmer into the circuit. When you tell your house to “Turn On” the patio, the relay snaps shut and the tube glows hot almost instantly. If you have a big space, you can group a few of these together and manage different zones from one screen.
A quick heads-up on the hardware
Here is the thing: these heaters pull a lot of power. If you’re putting in a row of 2000W units, don’t skimp on your wiring. You need the right gauge to handle the load, or you’ll run into voltage drops. Even worse, if you overload a smart relay, the contacts can literally weld themselves shut. If your setup is pulling more than 16A per circuit, just use the smart controller to trigger a secondary contactor. It’s a simple extra step that saves you from a total hardware meltdown.
